Day 46 – Valentine’s Day got me thinking about flowers and the many flower vases I have collected over the years. I believed that I would need to keep a number of these vases for some reason or another. Well, with each passing year, those reasons have not materialized. I decided to email my local florist to find out if they could use a few extra vases. They promptly responded with a “we will gladly take your vases.”
So, I boxed them up and dropped them off this past Friday. They were very thankful and it’s nice to know that my vases will hold a beautiful bouquet for someone in the future and bring some happiness.
So, next time you’re going through the kitchen cabinets, consider donating some of those flower vases.
