Day 45 – Happy Valentine’s Day! I couldn’t think of a better day to share my problem with pillows, more specifically decorative pillows. Many a time, I found myself roaming the local Home Goods and before I knew it, I had a pair of decorative pillows in the cart. I have different pillows for the holidays and the various seasons. I could have easily continued purchasing pillows, since not every holiday or season was represented.
Thankfully, I came to my senses and realized I neither needed all these pillows or better yet, I had no place to keep all these pillows. The solution to my pillow problem was solved with pillow covers. Covers can be found in every color, pattern, and design imaginable.
You can find pillow covers just about anywhere. I purchased my first set of pillow covers on Etsy. Now, I’m able to be festive and not frivolous. I’m no longer bringing more pillows, more stuff, into the house that is not needed. Stuff that would eventually, over time, end up in the trash. Now, the current holiday is celebrated with pillows displayed in washable and easily stored decorative covers.
