Day 42 – I could not tell you the last time I threw on some makeup. It’s been awhile. So, my need for makeup removal pads is nonexistent. I do, however, have a makeup wearing teen in the house. I also have a couple more that will surely follow in her footsteps. So, when I saw the cotton round pads in the bathroom trash can, I looked into an alternative.
There are plenty of brands on the market. I went with the Green Estate Reusable Makeup Remover Pads. A few of the reasons I chose this brand:

- Each product purchased plants one tree in an area of need through their partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects.
- Two-sides pad – Black side for mascara, eye shadow, lipstick, and foundation. White side for toner and moisturizer.
- Easy care – Rinse and place used facial pads in provided laundry bag. Toss in washing machine, tumble dry. 14 Pads provided so that you always have a set available while running a load of laundry.
The teen has been pleased with the product and I’m happy not purchasing cotton pads.
Tomorrow, 1% may not sound like a lot, but it can make a big impact.
